Time flies. Time changes. Nothing remains the same. If it does, you
should be scared. It’s unusual. That is life. Next time someone moves
your cheese, please don’t scream. Just calmly look for it [and you will
find it] then act like someone brand new.
For Lady Jaydee, 2014 could be another year for injecting changes. It
could be a business strategy. Or it could be what gossip cops are
hanging into it; love that isn’t love no more. Whatever the case, she
has decided to “move on”. She has a new manager. His name is Webiro N.
Wassira populary known as
Wakazi.
Wakazi is an artist. He comes along as someone who has seen both
worlds. A fella who grew up in Ukonga Dar-es-salaam before moving to US
and discovered deeper his music roots and inspiration in Chicago [windy
city and mecca of black race], he definitely carries in his cabinet
something to offer. After all, music management is all about
understanding how the industry works and high negotiation skills. He has
been into it, he is into it and from what I know, he ain’t planning
into going anywhere else anytime soon. His candidacy can be sealed with
his eagerness to work hard [and play hard]. Everyone needs a manager who
can balance that.
Before tapping Wakazi as her Manager, Lady JayDee aka Komando was
managed for years by Gardner G. Habash, her husband of 9 years. Lately,
there has been countless of rumors and reports that the two are no
longer together. So far, none of them have been ready and available to
confirm or dispute the rumors.
On management side, Wakazi’s first task will be to bring Lady JayDee
back on stage in full swing as she is set to re-open what was formerly
known as Nyumbani Lounge. It will now be called M.O.G Bar &
Restaurant on 31
st October 2014.
